Frequently asked

Do you travel for destination weddings?

Absolutely. We photograph and film weddings internationally. There are no travel costs within Northland. For other NZ regions, some travel costs may apply. Destination weddings may incur costs for accommodation & air travel. Contact us for a personalised quote.

How do we secure our date?

A $1,000 deposit and signed agreement secures your date. The remainder is due before your wedding. We also offer payment plans; speak with us when you inquire.

How long until we receive our gallery?

Galleries are typically delivered within 4–12 weeks of your wedding day. We also try to send a few select teasers within a few days of your wedding to tide you over while we work on your main set. Your online gallery includes downloading for friends & family.

Can we add video and content to a photography package?

Yes, video and content can be added to any photography package. Ask about bundled pricing when you inquire and we'll put together a custom quote.

What's included with the Complete Coverage package?

The Complete Coverage package includes 10 hours, a second shooter, aerial drone, 600–900+ images, 100 prints, a USB keepsake, and an online gallery. It covers every moment from getting ready through to the reception.

Are editorial documentary + cinematic albums available?

Yes. We create custom-designed memory albums arranged as a special story format. Album pricing is customised to your gallery; inquire for details.

What gear do you use?

We shoot on Sony. We have a long-standing relationship with Sony and have been recognised by them multiple times, including Sony Wedding Photographer of the Year 2025 and Sony Category Winner. We use Sony prime lenses because they deliver exceptional sharpness, beautiful bokeh, and reliable performance in low light - which means your portraits and candid moments stay crisp and flattering even in dim churches or late receptions.

How do we approach family photos and narrow down the list?

We'll work with you before the day to prioritise the combinations that matter most (immediate family, key grandparents, essential groups). We have years of experience keeping family photos efficient and calm - we know how to move through the list without eating into your reception, and how to get everyone looking natural. We can't promise every possible combination, but we'll make sure the ones you care about most are covered beautifully. .

Why would I want to add social content?

Social content is short-form video: shareable clips and raw moments while the day is still fresh. You can post to Reels, TikTok, or stories without waiting for your full gallery, and you'll have a stack of candid phone-style video moments to look back on. Great if you love sharing in real time or want something light and fun alongside your main photos and film.

What's the difference between Social Content Partial and Full?

Partial covers up to 6 hours and includes 6–8 edited video clips plus 30–60+ raw video moments. Full gives you 10+ hours of coverage, 10–14 edited video clips, and 80–100 raw video moments. Choose Partial for a shorter day or a taste of social-ready video; choose Full if you want the whole celebration captured in shareable video.
