An artist's eye for your Northland wedding
I'm Rachel Jordan, a documentary and fine-art wedding photographer based in Kerikeri in the Bay of Islands. I've been photographing weddings across Northland for over a decade - from sweeping clifftop ceremonies at Kauri Cliffs, to barefoot beach elopements in Paihia, to intimate vineyard gatherings in the hills above Kerikeri.
My approach is unobtrusive and documentary at heart. I follow the real moments - the glances, the tears, the laughter - and give them back to you as photographs that feel honest, emotional, and alive. When I do guide you for portraits, it's gentle and natural... the result always feels genuinely like you.
I cover the full Northland region: Bay of Islands, Kerikeri, Whangarei, Paihia, Russell, Tutukaka Coast, Mangawhai, Matakana, Kaitaia and the Far North. Travel is included in Northland for qualifying packages.

Booking a Northland wedding photographer
Do you travel throughout Northland?
Yes. Travel is included throughout Northland for our Complete Coverage package. We're based in Kerikeri, so Bay of Islands, Whangarei, Mangawhai and everywhere in between is home territory for us.
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend 9 - 18 months for busy Northland spring and summer dates. Popular weekends book quickly, especially around New Year and February. Reach out as early as you can.
Do you shoot elopements?
Absolutely. Northland is one of New Zealand's best elopement destinations - the Bay of Islands and Far North coastline offer unforgettable backdrops for intimate ceremonies.
