Kerikeri's documentary wedding photographer
I'm Rachel Jordan, and I've called Kerikeri home for over a decade. This is where I grew up photographically - learning the light across the Bay of Islands, the grounds of Liddington Gardens, the golden hour on the water near Russell. I know these venues and landscapes intimately, and that familiarity shows in every wedding I photograph here.
My approach is unobtrusive and story-led. I document the real moments - the stolen glances, the tears your mum is trying to hide, the dance floor abandon - and weave them together with thoughtful, artful portraits. When I do guide you, it's gentle and natural... you'll barely notice. The result always feels genuinely like you.
Based in Kerikeri, I cover the full Bay of Islands and Northland region. Travel is included for qualifying packages throughout Northland.

Photographing weddings across the Bay of Islands
Kerikeri is our home. We know every venue, every backroad, every golden-hour spot across the Bay of Islands - and that local knowledge makes a real difference on your wedding day.
Kerikeri
Our home base. Stone Store, Rainbow Falls, Kerikeri Basin, Liddington Gardens, and the rolling orchards and farmland of the heartland.
Paihia & Waitangi
Beachfront ceremonies, coastal farmland, and waterfront venues with sweeping Bay of Islands views. One of New Zealand's most iconic settings.
Russell
New Zealand's first capital - home to the Duke of Marlborough, Omata Estate vineyard, and some of the most charming waterfront locations in the country.
Kauri Cliffs & Matauri Bay
World-class luxury destination weddings on the clifftops above the Pacific. Dramatic coastal scenery and light that photographers dream about.
Takou River & surrounds
Lush riverside retreats like Magic Cottages - intimate, subtropical, and utterly romantic. Perfect for elopements and small weddings.
Islands & remote spots
Boat-access ceremonies, private beaches, and hidden corners of the Bay. We love an adventure and will go wherever your day takes us.
