There's a reason people travel from all over New Zealand to get married here. The light through the orchards, the old stone buildings, the gardens that feel like they've been waiting for exactly this moment... Kerikeri has something genuinely magical about it.
And if you're looking for a photographer who actually lives here, knows the light at every venue, and genuinely loves this place - well, that's us. Have a look around, and come and say hello if it feels like a good fit.
Rachel Jordan
Kerikeri's documentary wedding photographer
I'm Rachel, and Kerikeri is home. I've been photographing weddings here for well over a decade, which means I know the light through the gardens and orchards, the evening glow on the water near Russell, and the quiet corners of this place that make for a great photograph. That kind of familiarity isn't something you can fast-track.
I photograph in a documentary way, but I'm far from invisible. I'm right there with you, getting people at ease, having a laugh, helping everyone relax and forget the camera exists... and that's when the real moments start to happen. That's where the good stuff is.
Travel is included throughout the Bay of Islands and Northland for qualifying packages. And if you'd like a cinematic film alongside your photos, we offer videography and content creation too.
